Book cover commissioned by Joseph Atwill (known for his best-selling book Caesar’s Messiah), about “the Bard’s secret war on the Catholic Church”. Atwill argues that Shakespeare is “puzzle literature” that is meant to be decrypted, so I used the puzzle concept for the cover. When the book was opened the frontispiece had the same puzzle, but uncompleted, suggesting that, much like the theory laid out in the book, the big picture is a mystery at the beginning.
